1. Who we are
JARAD Private Limited (CIN U82990KA2026PTC214991) is the Data Fiduciary for personal data collected through this website. Our registered office is at 5A, 1st Floor, 33rd Main, Dollar Scheme, 1st Cross, BTM 1st Stage, Madiwala, Bengaluru, Karnataka – 560068.
2. What we collect
We only collect the information you choose to give us through our forms, WhatsApp, phone calls or email:
- Driver applications: name, age, mobile number, city and area, whether you hold a 4-wheeler licence, driving experience and anything you tell us in the message.
- Ride requests: name, mobile number, pickup and drop locations, date, time and trip notes.
- Enquiries: name, mobile number, and optionally your email address, company and message.
We do not ask for passwords, bank details or identity documents through this website. Documents needed for driver onboarding are collected in person or through a separate, secure process.
When you browse the website, we also collect anonymous usage information through Google Analytics (see section 7).
3. Why we use it
- To respond to your request: calling you back, confirming a ride, or processing a driver application.
- To provide the service you asked for and manage our agreement with you.
- To meet legal, regulatory and tax obligations.
We process this data on the basis of the consent you give when you submit a form. We do not sell your personal data or use it for unrelated marketing.
4. Who we share it with
Your details are seen only by the JARAD team members who handle your request. We use trusted service providers to run this website and store form submissions (such as Google Workspace and Firebase). They process data on our behalf and under our instructions. For driver onboarding, we share the details that ride-hailing platforms require, and only with your knowledge.
5. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and application data for as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting agreement, and for up to 24 months afterwards unless the law requires longer. After that it is deleted.
6. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you can:
- ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct, complete, update or erase it;
- withdraw your consent at any time (this will not affect processing already carried out);
- nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf; and
- raise a grievance with us, and if unresolved, with the Data Protection Board of India.
7. Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this website, for example which pages are visited, roughly which city visits come from, the type of device and browser, and whether visitors tap our call, WhatsApp or “Join as Driver” buttons or send a form. Google Analytics sets cookies to count visits; it does not receive your name, phone number or anything you type into our forms, and we do not use it for advertising. You can block these cookies in your browser settings or install Google's opt-out add-on. We do not use advertising cookies. The map on our contact page loads from Google only when you choose to show it.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls, to protect your data.
